Wander Theater Guide (September Rerun)
September rerun: F2P claims on floor 2-3, whales use the 2x sigil rule. Expert books and sigils ~200%, charm guides ~160%; skip chief gear except the daily chest. Up to $50 a day.
! September rerun — what changed vs. the July guide
🆕 Same rules, different value calls
The event rules and the strategies are unchanged from July. This video is a TL;DR plus a re-evaluation of the shop.
① Expert materials really are cheap here. In July we called the sigil and book discounts a baseline illusion and pointed to the Light of Wisdom pack instead. That pop-up (240%) appeared once and never came back. Among sources that actually recur, Wander Theater (≈200%) is the best.
② Skip chief gear. Ton: "Last time I took too much chief gear. Next to experts and charms it is far behind." (The 5-per-day chest is the only exception.)
③ Charms re-rated upward: ≈130% in July → now Charm Guides and Designs ≈160%, Charm Secrets even higher. Charms usually cost you 100–120%.
Also: F2P gets 122 talismans (2 extra at the start, per the transcript) · a new "all-charm floors" protected burn strategy · no need to play on day 1.
Claim as soon as you reach floor 2–3
Protected once (forced) → regular exploration → claim on floor 2 (safest) or floor 3 → new board. Take coins or the item you want. Do not climb.
$50 a day · expert materials + charms
Claim on floor 3 (mix coins and items) → buy books, sigils, Charm Secrets and charm materials. Whales maxing experts use protected runs to maximize sigils (2× rule).
1 Context — events beat regular packs September overview
📈 More events than before
- Wander Theater is back for the 3rd time in under 6 months → expect 4–5 runs a year.
- Treasure Hunter, Journey of Light and others continue → roughly ~50% more events.
- Events are usually ≈200% value, the good ones 230–300%. Regular packs almost never exceed 200%.
🛍 Regular packs still worth it
- Endless Wayfarer — experts, every 2 weeks (small quantity)
- Myriad Bazaar — pop-up
- Frosty Fortune · Mia's Fortune — for Fire Crystals (events rarely give them)
- Widgets: an event 5 weeks into each generation gives 95 of them cheaply (over a third of what you need).
2 Event overview currency · floors
❄ Currency · runs
- Currency = Talisman of Ice. Each run costs 5.
- F2P: 120 from daily missions (+2 at start) = 122
- Spenders: 240 from missions (once triggered) + packs
❄ Floors
- Wonderland has 7 floors; each floor offers 2 items or coins — pick one.
- Floor 8, Astral = 5 Wonder Stars (1–5 per floor-7 clear).
- By generation: shop prices are identical; early generations get slightly smaller floor rewards. On Torxim, enter your State number in the top-right settings.
3 Regular vs protected · odds
| Mode | On a drop (−) | On a rise (+) | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Regular default · free |
Fail → forced claim, run ends | Keep going | Free |
| Protected no fail |
No fail → roll again (drop odds unchanged) | Keep going | Paid per floor · expensive |
First click (forced protected)
Later clicks (regular and protected)
⚠ After the first click most outcomes drop (70% per the table; Ton rounded it to "80%" in the September video — figures here are from the July part 1). Going from floor 4 to 5 with protected runs cost 120 in testing → never use protected runs on an F2P plan. Watch for misclicks on the right side of the screen, which waste a protected run.
4 Strategies simulation-backed · 98–99% optimal
① Claim on floor 2 safest F2P
- Protected (forced) → regular → claim on reaching floor 2 → new board
- For F2P players with few runs and high variance — a common choice in the comments
② Claim on floor 3 recommended for most
- Floor 3 = best coin efficiency + good item value
- Mix coins and items, then finish in the shop. Ton plays this way
③ Sigil maximizing expert whales
- For spenders pushing experts to max level and max stats
- Protected runs + the "2× rule" below
④ All-charm burn not optimal · saves time
- If floors +1/+2/+3 are all charms, any protected roll is a good outcome
- Ton used it on vacation. Only when you have no time to claim and reset
③ Sigil maximizing — the "2× rule"
- No sigils on the top floors → regular runs up to the first sigil floor (e.g. floor 4), collect, then reset the board.
- Sigils on the top floors → play protected. On a sigil floor, keep climbing if a higher floor has at least twice as many; otherwise collect.
- Example: floor 4 → floor 6 has 2× or more → continue. On floor 6 the next one has 123 (just under 2× ≈124) → collect on floor 6.
5 Board vs shop — by floor Ton's Discord table
Rule: if you would buy the item in the shop anyway, take it from the board; otherwise take coins and buy what you want.

🧠 Expert material sources compared
Dawn of Wisdom (baseline pack) 100% · Light of Wisdom (pop-up, seen once) 240% · Wander Theater ≈200% · Endless Wayfarer (limited quantity). → Of the sources you can count on, Wander Theater is the best.
Ton's plan: already has plenty of sigils → takes sigils, coins and charms from the board → spends the remaining coins on Charm Secrets plus the books and Seals of Conquest he still needs.
7 Spending — packs · milestones · budgets
💳 Pack efficiency (talismans per $ ≈16→10)
- $5 · $10 — high
- $20 · $50 — similar (middle)
- $100 — drops sharply; kraken territory
- Recommended: up to $50 a day.
🏁 Maxing the milestones
- Ton: 5 days at $50 + 1 day at $20 = ≈$460 (one pack can be skipped)
- Torxim's table: $510 — they disagree
- → Buy up to $50 every day until the last day, then check whether you still need it
- F2P: stop at the 100 milestone.
📊 Torxim budget scenarios: $30 ($5 daily) · $90 ($5+$10) · $210 ($5–$20) · $510 (max milestones). At $510 on a pure coin strategy you get ≈1.4M coins — enough for every expert and charm item. In practice you take sigils and charms from the board, so you end with fewer coins but more total value.
8 When to play no rush
❄ No need to play on day 1. Spenders can just buy the packs and play once the strategy is confirmed. If the event might have changed, wait until the end of the day and play the next day.
⏱ The floor-3 method can take about an hour a day → short on time, use strategy ④.

📦 Revised from the July guide
✕ "Sigil and book discounts are a baseline illusion; Light of Wisdom is better" → Wander Theater is the best real source (LoW never returned).
✕ "Chief Gear Material Chest ⭐ best" → buy the 5 daily only; skip other chief gear.
✕ "Charms ≈130%" → guides and designs ≈160%, secrets higher.
Kept: July simulation (≈56.3 talismans on average to reach floor 7) · July verdict (floor coins ×5 and shop prices ×10 → roughly half the value for F2P, but less variance).
